Delete my data
Last updated 16 October 2026
You can ask for your information to be removed from AKOS at any time. Which steps apply depends on whether you use AKOS yourself, or a business you have dealt with does.
If you have an AKOS account
- Email aaryanhkhanna@gmail.com from the address on your account, with the subject Delete my data.
- Say whether you want just your own account removed, or your whole workspace (owners only).
- We confirm it is you, then delete the information within 30 days and tell you when it is done.
Disconnect a connected account yourself, right now
In AKOS, go to Settings › Connections and choose Disconnect next to Slack, Google, Facebook or WhatsApp. This removes the credential we stored for it straight away. To also remove AKOS’s access on the other side, use that service’s own settings (for Google, Security › Third-party access; for Slack, your workspace’s app settings; for Facebook, Settings › Business integrations).
If you are a customer of a business that uses AKOS
Your enquiry is in AKOS because that business put it there, and they decide what is kept. Ask them to delete or correct your information, or to stop messaging you (replying STOP to a WhatsApp message, or using the unsubscribe link in an email, stops messages straight away). If you cannot reach them, email aaryanhkhanna@gmail.com with the name and phone number or email address the business would have, and the business’s name if you know it. We will pass the request to them and help make sure it is dealt with.
What gets deleted, and what we may have to keep
- Deleted: your account details, your business’s leads, notes, messages, connected-account credentials and automations.
- Kept for a short time: encrypted backups, which are overwritten on a regular cycle.
- May be kept where the law or security requires it: a minimal record that an opt-out or deletion request was made (so we do not message you again), and security logs needed to investigate abuse.
Data received through Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp
If your information reached AKOS through a Facebook or Instagram lead form or a WhatsApp conversation, the same steps apply: ask the business, or email aaryanhkhanna@gmail.com. Removing AKOS from your Facebook settings (Settings › Business integrations) also stops AKOS receiving anything further through your account.
